T4 slip: Statement of Remuneration Paid
A T4 slip, or Statement of Remuneration Paid, is a document that summarizes all of the money paid by an employer to an employee during a calendar year. Employers issue T4 slips by the end of February each year either electronically or on paper.
Lenders use this to verify your previous years income.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY T4?
1. Sign a consent form and we will have a tax professional obtain a copy on your behalf.
2. Obtain a duplicate copy from your employer.
3. Obtain a duplicate copy by logging into your CRA online account and taking a screenshot of the full screen, ensuring to include your full name.
